Timber Case Kit to make Grandmother Floor Clock case.

Last Floor Clock Kit. End of Production Run.

Case Parts Produced in Australia by CMI from Selected Imported Durian Hardwoods and or Veneered boards.
Door frames supplied are pre-made. Components ready to stain or polish then assemble.
Features a Removable Case Hood for easy Movement setup and servicing.
Solid Brass and Brass Plated Components, Hinges and Handles are used throughout Construction.
These kits have been pre made and assembled to check for quality fit, then dis assembled ready for you to finish prior to re building in a way to suit your tastes.
Note- Glass is not supplied, however sizes and template pattern shapes are giving in the setup booklet.

Technical Features
Durian is part of the Meranti family of soft to firm hardwood timbers. Is not subject to warping or twisting and is dent resistant. Because of its stability it can be used for a wide variety of applications.

Visual Features
Durian ranges from pale-red to reddish/brown. Due to the number of variations being marketed under the botanical species name Shorea, yet called Meranti, there will be some colour variation across the timber species. It has a moderately coarse grain but even in texture with an attractive ribbon feature.

Workability
Durian is easy to work with and has good nailing, screwing and gluing properties. Durian readily accepts varnish, paint or stain. Its open grain structure means surfaces should be sanded before finishing. It is readily used for a wide variety of internal decorative applications and window frames. As Durian has a fairly high silica content, it is essential to keep all cutting tools very sharp as the silica will dull the edge very quickly.

Applications
Durian is popular for use in a wide variety of internal applications such as joinery applications for mouldings, cabinetry, architraves and skirting, newel posts, handrails, furniture and panelling.

Permission to Return and to Receive Credit
We will accept return of merchandise ONLY IF IN SALEABLE CONDITION and notification is within 7 days of receipt .We will Issue Credit to your account or Credit Card in Australian dollars. For unwanted merchandise the cost of return shipping shall be the responsibility of the customer.

Damaged or Incorrect Merchandise
We will, upon your request, replace any merchandise that is received in damaged condition or as a result of a picking error. No material will be accepted or replacements issued without prior approval to return such merchandise. Filing of claims will be our responsibility.
